A shift for Nikkita Palmer Designs | Things are changing around here

A Recap On The Last 10 (!) Years

Over the last 10 years, I’ve been building Nikkita Palmer Designs into a creative events and design business, creating everything from VIP spaces at some of the UK and Ireland’s best festivals and corporate events to show-stopping arches and immersive event environments.

I’ve also learnt to drive a telehandler along the way. It’s all part of the job, right?

While the business has grown considerably since those early days of me making reclaimed furniture, my love for vintage, interiors and finding beauty in the unexpected has never gone anywhere.

So, I thought it was about time I shared a little more of what goes on behind the scenes. What I’ve built, what I’m working on and where we’re heading next.

Introducing @nikkita.palmer, a new account where I’ll be going back to my roots. Expect vintage sourcing, furniture upcycling, interiors, and even the renovation of my old bungalow, with my trusty sausage dog Flo never far from the action.

Think of it as a little more of me, the things I love, and the creative projects that happen outside of event installs.

So, what’s changing around here?

You’ll also notice a few shifts over here at Nikkita Palmer Designs.

Over the past few years, we’ve found ourselves doing more and more design consultancy and creative concept development, but we haven’t been sharing nearly enough of it.

From taking a one-line brief to a fully developed creative concept, I love taking an idea and turning it into something tangible. Something with a story, a sense of place and a little bit of creative fun.

Creative consultancy will be a big focus for us over the coming year, with me taking the lead on the design and creative direction while our brilliant team continue to bring these ideas to life through our installations.

I’ll also be putting more focus into the permanent installation side of the business, where I can really get stuck into my love of interiors, sourcing and creating spaces that feel considered, characterful and completely unique.

And if you simply need furniture and prop hire for your event? We’ve obviously still got you covered. We’ll be simplifying our hire offering, making it easier than ever to find the right pieces and packages for your plans.

More of what makes us, us

At the heart of it all, Nikkita Palmer Designs isn’t changing. We’re evolving, building on everything we’ve learnt over the last decade and making more room for the creativity that has always been at the heart of the business.

There’ll be a few website updates, plenty more behind-the-scenes content across both accounts, and a little more insight into the people, processes and ideas that make it all happen.

You can find us at @nikkitapalmerdesigns for all things event design, creative concepts and installations, and @nikkita.palmer for the vintage finds, interiors, projects and everyday chaos in between.

Same business, same brilliant team, just a little more me (Nikkita!).

And I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
