Glastonbury 2025: Behind The Scenes of Our Influencer-Focused Festival Accommodation

2025 marked a true milestone for the NPD team as we celebrated our first-ever installation at the iconic Glastonbury Festival, not with just one, but two standout creations for two very different brands across the site. One was with the nearby luxury accommodation, Ziggu Camp, and the other, with the fabulous Debenhams.

After closing their physical stores in 2021, Debenhams has been on an exciting transformation journey, re-emerging as a trend-led, digital-first retailer that moves with the times and keeps innovating. Their appearance at Glastonbury was the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the brand to a fresh, festival-loving audience and show off their new look. All they needed was a visual spectacle to match, and that’s where we came in.

The main activation centred around the concept of a ‘Glam Camp’, a luxe, on-brand environment designed to showcase festival must-haves to a curated group of influencers and creators. Our role was to create an immersive space where guests could either get ready for the day or unwind after soaking in the festival magic.

Organised by the amazing team at Squarefish Events, the guest group stayed at a stunning nearby farmhouse. We were brought in to help bring the festival vibes to their base and of course, to create more than a few Instagram-worthy moments throughout the space.

The creative direction? Think boho farmhouse, luxury staycation, and festival flourishes, all with nods to the Debenhams brand and its new festival fashion collection.

The Brief

The Creations

The Entrance

First impressions matter. That’s why we made sure guests were greeted with an instant wow-moment: a custom mirror installation, branded with both Debenhams and Glastonbury elements. It quickly became a hotspot for photo ops, with influencers capturing and sharing the moment as they arrived.

Props used here:

  • Handcrafted here-edged mirror, complete with bespoke branded decals.

  • Bespoke dried floral arrangements in hot pinks and turquoise

  • A selection of disco balls in a variety of sizes

  • An assortment of vintage coloured bottles, complete with dried flower arrangements

  • Brass candlestick holders with battery-powered dinner candles

The Kitchen

Next, we brought the same cohesive, styled energy into the kitchen, ensuring no corner was overlooked. The details here were all about subtle nods to festival spirit, with playful prints, pops of colour, and texture-rich styling.

Props used here:

  • A selection of small disco balls to style existing bowls and feature within the accommodation

  • Creative and colourful prints with wording such as ‘Kitchen Disco’ and ‘The Kitchen Is For Dancing’.

  • Colourful tassels and decorative accessories to be hung off of cupboard door handles.

  • A tablescape installation including vintage vessels, dried flowers and an eclectic selection of candle holders

The Orangery

Up next is the orangery, a communal space for mingling and conversation!

With that in mind, we focused our largest installation in this space and chose to craft a hanging, dried flower cloud in this space. This bold feature included dried florals in popping pinks, turquoise and even included LED lighting and disco balls. Let’s take a look at the other items that framed this space:

  • Handcrafted festival directional sign with floral base

  • Another cohesive styled tablescape to continue the aesthetics throughout

Bathrooms and En suites

We knew these spaces would be used for content creation like GRWMs and OOTDs, so they needed a creative touch too.

Props used here:

  • Creative graphic prints with a focus on getting ready

  • Colourful and unique vases

  • Disco ball rubber ducks (our favourites)

Library, Snug and Bedrooms

Even at a festival, comfort and style go hand-in-hand. These more restful spaces followed the same aesthetic language with pastel accents, soft textures, and curated styling.

Outdoors

With extensive grounds overlooking the festival, the outdoors had to deliver too.

We created naked tipi lounges, a communal outdoor dining area, and chill zones with reclaimed wood loungers around the fire pit. The whole space was brought to life with festoon lighting, vibrant soft furnishings, and festival-inspired touches.

The Results

Throughout the weekend, our creations popped up across reels, stories, and influencer content. Seeing our work featured in so much organic coverage was hugely rewarding. And feedback like this made it even better:

‘Honestly, they absolutely loved the areas! The Debenhams team were super happy!’
