Acushnet Europe Golf Annual Gala Dinner
Creating an Immersive “Country Roads” Experience
Client: Acushnet Europe The Event
Acushnet Europe’s Annual Gala Dinner is one of the highlights of their corporate calendar, bringing teams together to celebrate achievements and recognise excellence. For 2025, the event theme, chosen by staff vote, was “Country Roads”, a high-end western-inspired concept designed to be both fun and sophisticated.
The fantastic Charlotte at Kinn Collective led the planning and design, whilst we ensured the furniture, styling and layout created an immersive experience that supported dining, awards and entertainment.
The Brief
The requirements were clear:
Reflect the “Country Roads” theme with a luxurious, polished aesthetic
Create functional spaces for arrival, networking, dining and awards
Align decor with Acushnet’s brand values
Deliver a cohesive experience while staying within venue and budget constraints
The brief called for a combination of design-led furniture hire and styling to enhance the event flow and guest experience.
Our Approach
Our approach focused on creating a balance between visual impact and functional layouts:
Layout Planning
Carefully zoning the space to allow smooth movement between welcome drinks, dining and the awards stage
Furniture Selection
Mix of long tables, poseur tables, sofas and breakout seating for networking areas
Styling Integration
Incorporating natural textures, warm lighting and western-inspired décor to reinforce the theme
Custom Features
Bespoke installations, like a horseshoe arch with dried floral arrangements and a cartwheel-style floral hoop for the ceiling

Main Hall and Stage Design
The stage was the visual focal point:

Challenges and Solutions
The event faced common corporate gala challenges, including high guest numbers, multi-use spaces and budget constraints. By zoning areas carefully and using large-scale furniture and décor, the space felt impressive yet practical. Budget-conscious styling in transitional areas made sure resources were focused where visual impact mattered most.
Results
The furniture and styling transformed Burgess Hall into a warm, playful, and sophisticated environment.
Guests experienced a seamless journey from arrival to awards presentation and evening entertainment. The design encouraged networking, interaction, and celebration, reflecting both the client’s brand and team culture.
